Prayer is the backbone of all ministerial activities and initiatives within the RCCG Chapel of His Glory. The word of God says except the Lord build the house the laborers build in vain (Psalm 127:1) and that men ought always to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1). The RCCG have a vibrant prayer ministry that seeks the Lord’s face regularly by waiting on the Lord to intercede and stand in the gap on all aspects of the church ministry, for members’ needs and matters concerning the community at large.
All church members and anyone who wants to grow and maintain a vibrant prayer life are encouraged to join with us on our weekly Saturday prayer teleconference from 9-10pm and night vigils every last Friday of the month at the church.
All church workers are expected to actively participate in the worker’s prayer meeting from 9:00 to 9:30 am every Sunday Morning. Prayer team members are expected to wait on the Lord every Sunday and seek the Lord’s face for the Sunday worship service. In addition, members are also expected to join the weekly Sunday prayer teleconference from 7-8pm. From time to time, the team organizes other prayer programs such as retreats and prayer chains.
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
